A short while ago, there was a Webinar of the Pro/User group with the subject “Design Process Improvement and Automation”.

The first nine minutes they are about the Pro/User group in general but then, there is a demonstration how SMARTAssembly makes your constructor life easier.

Overview:

• Customizing user interfaces.
• Communicating with other software (mainly Excel).
• Reducing the repetitive work in Creo.
• Dealing with creating both global and local drawings that accommodate design requirements for specific regions.
• Embedding designs rules into the automatic creation of models and drawings.
• Modular coding for ease of maintenance.
• Standardizing drawings and error reduction.
