Additional Washer and Nut for IFX

Description

We would like to inform you about a new feature in Intelligent Fastener Extension (IFX).

• Adding a second nut
• Adding third washer on screw and nut side

This feature support applications that require a combination of using three washers and two nuts. It is disabled by default and must be enabled in the Creo Intelligent Fastener Options dialog.

Benefits

• You can now add a third washer on each side. This is advantageous, for example, when making electrical connections.
• You can now add a second nut. This is beneficial for locking methods.

The Intelligent Fastener Options Dialog Box

• Click: Ribbon > Tools > Intelligent Fastener > Options
• Use these configuration options to show the new fasteners in the Screw Fastener Definition dialog box.

• Click: Ribbon > Tools > Intelligent Fastener > Screw
• Depending on the new options you will see additional option menus for 3rd washers and 2nd nut.
